Mr. Richard Kotz graduated from Cornell University with a BA in biology and did his graduate work in statistics. Richard retired from the FDA where he managed statisticians reviewing hundreds of clinical trials for a wide variety of medical devices and conditions. He has also designed and reviewed scores of trial in all areas of alternative medicine. He currently works at North American Science Associates. Richard served as president of the FDA Statistical Association and chair of the Medical Device and Diagnostic Section of the American Statistical Association. In 2016, he was awarded FDA’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
